The Langport Area River Working Group
The River Parrett group is working hard to encourage the use of the river for the benefit of the whole Langport area. By improving access to the river we can enhance leisure and tourism possibilities of the area. Improving leisure and tourism activities will contribute to the local economy as a whole.
The group
has held electric boating trials which proved very
successful. Using electric boats
allows people to enjoy the natural beauty and wildlife of the area while not
disturbing the peace and tranquility of the river.
