Cultural Festival 2008
After the acclaimed success of the 2006 festival LADT is organising another event to take place this autumn between October 20th & October 26th.
The main events organised by LADT will be centred at the wonderful Bow Yard.
On Wednesday 22nd October in co-operation with Rev Hugh Ellis we are holding an
inter-faith night were there is an open forum on religion: Should Faith be Public or Private?
with Andrew Footner, David Hatfield, Tony Reese, Farooq Siddique and Ngar Whiteford. Chaired by: Tim Richards.

On Thursday 23rd October we are holding an International Food Festival where award winning Chef Mark Roberts will create a “Taste of the World” culinary delight and of course you get to taste the resulting mouth watering fare. Wines will be available from the range offered by The Wine Wizard of Langport. The evening is being generously sponsored by
Tesco. This is an evening not to be missed for food lovers. Tickets will be available in advance from Langport Information Centre and other local outlets including Bow Yard Café,
price: £5 per person.
The last event at Bow Yard on Friday 24th October will be an Activity Night where
local professionals will be on hand to demonstrate their skills from art to holistic treatments to
food and assist you to have a try.
Come and give it a go! Tasters of local skills will be available. Tickets
available as above price: £3.
All events will start at 7.00 for 7.30 and will end at 10.00
We will also be closely involved with local schools music projects and food subjects
