Langport Festival 2012
We are holding a Langport Festival from June 2nd - June 10th 2012.
Events planned so far include :
Flower Festival in All Saints Church
Performances by Langport Community Choir
An open book evening with local author Jackie Gingell (Ee Eye Addyeo (The Farmer Wants a Wife))
Art exhibitions by both adults and children in a variety of venues
OpenMic night at ArtTeaZen
Film evening
Walter Bagehot Debate in All Saints church
Annual Langport Walking Festival

Short Story Competition:
The Langport Leveller is launching a brand new short story writing competition. As part of the Langport Festival in 2012 writers from across the county and beyond are invited to submit a short story of not more than 1,500 words. See here for more details. Download an entry form here
